The SaltKicks work with all of the Truly Tequila Soda new flavors to maximize the number of “enhanced” Truly Tequila Soda combinations.

Fans get these flavored salt tins along with a wheel, which they spin to randomly assign a Truly Tequila Flavor which they pair with a flavor enhancing salt.

We’re elevating existing tequila occasions while creating gamified new ones - Drinking tequila has always been a multi-sensory experience, the music, the sound, the smells and of course the taste-

So whether adding salt to the can’s rim OR licking the salt off your hand- you’re experiencing Truly Tequila Soda’s new flavors along with the flavor enhancing salt for a major “WHOA” reaction.

Truly is launching a new flavor—Truly Tequila—and is looking for a newsworthy social idea that builds buzz, sparks curiosity, and drives trial. To celebrate the launch and encourage repeat purchases, we’re introducing Truly Tequila Soda SaltKicks: a line of flavored rimming salts designed to pair perfectly with each Truly Tequila flavor. Additionally, every SaltKicks pack includes a mystery flavor, giving fans a reason to come back, collect, and discover the full Truly Tequila experience.

 

Truly Tequila Soda SaltKicks

With a spin of the wheel, drinkers pair tequila flavors with different salts for a surprise kick, whether rimming the can or licking it off their hand. On social, we’ll invite fans to try it themselves by getting the pack, and we’ll fuel the hype by sending Truly Tequila and SaltKicks packs to influencers to spark engagement and shareable reactions.

 

Even though we didn’t win the pitch, Truly truly loved the idea—so much so, they launched a chamoy-covered gummy worm to pair with each of their four new Tequila Sodas. Coincidence?
